Life has been super busy and I haven’t been able to get on Oppo as much and it makes me fairly sad. I’m going on 6 years in this community, and it’s meant a lot to me over the years, to be honest. There’s a lot to be said for having such a tight community.
There’s been a lot of drama over the years, but we’ve still stayed together, still been Oppo. Members have come and gone, friends too. There are many familiar faces, many new ones too. Lots of shitposting, lots of fantastic stories. I’m sad that I haven’t been on as much recently, as there are a TON of posts I’ve wanted to make over the past couple of years that I just haven’t had time to.
I’ve moved to Seattle and am currently trying to get my mechanical engineering degree, which is kicking my ass at the moment, but in a fun way. I’m sorely down on car culture so far, and it’s killing me just a little bit, so Oppo has been a good way to stay involved.
I really don’t know where I’m going with this, just to say thanks for being you, for being awesome, I guess.
Also, happy birthday to Mr_gofast, AKA Jake!
